When cutting more complicated threads such as TRAPEZ, ACME, BUTTRESS or SAGE, it is advisable to check the effect of the thread “HELIX ANGLE” on the “RESULTANT FLANK CLEARANCE” . If is smaller than 2°, an anvil change is required.
